The Chinese Zodiac signs are derived from a person's birth year, according to the Chinese lunar calendar. The signs are arranged in the sequence they came to meet with Buddha.
The tenth sign in the Chinese zodiac. The name is also translated into cock or chicken. The Chinese term is more generic, as it applies to barnyard fowl of either sex.
The Year 2017 is a year dominated by the orientation towards progress, honour and maximum integrity, people learning to temper their honour. The year 2017 of the Fire Rooster will be full of positive events and very good news, career progress and profitable businesses for those born in the year of the Dragon.
The Rooster general Characteristics
Rooster children are meticulous, brave and tidy and they will have no problems at school. You can even trust them to be among the best students. They have a strong critical sense and can be very obedient when they need to solve something. Don’t waste time pointing out their mistakes because they wont admit them either way. Many rich people were born under this sign!
The adult Rooster is honest, brave and proud, so they will always be in the spotlight because their greatest pleasure is to express their opinions publicly and impress the people around. Their personality is imposing and they like to show off their knowledge and smartness. They make the best organisers and managers, you can trust them with your business and you will definitely have an honourable profit, but still, a profit you will only have if the Rooster allows you to. Either way, they wont let you down. They are excellent in business, honest and determined. They are very straight forwards and they are always up for endless discussions. If they contradict you it is very difficult to find valid arguments to fight back with.
